Who doesn’t love a grilled burger full of flavor and juicy, I know I do!
With grilling season in swing I want to share one of my favorite and easy grilled burger recipes. This recipe can be made ahead and put in the freezer to take on camping trips or you can make a double batch, and freeze half for another time.
I hope you will give this recipe a try, I know you will enjoy, Happy Grilling!
1 1/2 pounds of beef
1/2 cup Coke or Dr. Pepper divided
Don’t use diet cola!
1/2 cup of crushed saltines ( about 15-20)
1/2 cup of Catalina or French Dressing divided
2 tbs of Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 tsp of salt
In a large bowl combine the egg, 1/4 cup of cola (your choice), cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of dressing, Parmesan cheese and salt. Add meat and mix together well. Shape into six patties.
In a small bowl mix together the divided cola and dressing and set aside.
Grill burgers, uncovered over medium hot heat for three minutes on each side. Brush with cola mixture and grill for another 8-10 minutes longer or to your desired readiness. Basting and turning occasionally.
These are so good, I hope you will enjoy! Invite me, please!!
