Chicken Pecan Casserole

What’s not to love about this casserole, chicken, cheese, sour cream, onions and pecans! This is a cool night dinner, quick easy and baked in a snap. I like to make this the night before pop it in the oven the next day and boom, dinner! I hope you will give this a try. 

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked chicken chopped

1 cup celery chopped 

1 small onion chopped

8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

12 ounces sour cream

1 can cream of chicken

1/2 cup of chopped pecans

French’s fried onions for topping casserole 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°

Coat a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, stir celery, onion, cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken. 

Add chicken and pecans mix well and spoon into baking dish.

Bake  for 35 minutes. 

Pull baking dish out, top with fried onions and bake for 5-7 minutes more. Pull out of oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
