Cinnamon Biscuits

We love brunch! Every weekend we have a brunch date, Sweetdaddy does most of the cooking, to give me a break, I’m in charge of coffee and making biscuits. My favorite are cinnamon biscuits with a slightly crunchy top. I have several recipes I use but this one is the quickest and easiest, my absolute cheat recipe! I hope you will give them a try.

Ingredients:

4 cups Bisquick

1 cup sour cream

1 cup 7-up

1/2 cup melted butter

Cinnamon

Sanding sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°

Put butter in a 9×13 baking dish and place in the preheating oven until butter is melted. Pull out and set aside.

Mix sanding sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.

In a bowl mix biscuick, 7-up, and sour cream together until dough holds together and is sticky.

Turn dough onto a floured work surface and roll out until 1-inch thick. Using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass cut into circles. Dip both sides into the melted butter and place in pan.

Top biscuits with cinnamon and sanding sugar mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 3-5 minutes and serve.

Happy Baking 😊
