My name is Kelli, and I like ice cream, there, I said it! No going back, it’s out there (insert your opinion here). I’m not talking about the typical ice cream you buy in the grocery store, you know, the kind that has so many chemicals and preservatives you cannot pronounce much less spell.

I usually make my own, that way I control what goes in it. Homemade is what ice cream should taste like. If you do not have time, or a freezer to whip some up, may I suggest taking a trip to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. Oh man, this stuff is AWESOME! They cut no corners! It is the best and the freshest, no chemicals added, from farm to ice cream you could eat! The best and only the best do they use to make their ice cream, and man can you taste it. Some of the flavors are: Sweet Cream Biscuits and Peach Jam, Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk, Sweet Corn and Black Raspberries, Goat Cheese and Cherries, Milkiest Chocolate In The World, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle, just to name a few. My mouth is watering as I write this. Something is telling me to go get a scoop of Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk and Salty Caramel. Nom Nom Nom!

When you go, don’t let the line scare you away. Sometimes they can be out the store and around the block, but they move fast. Jeni’s will let you sample all of the flavors, but beware, you are going to want them all! Even the flavors you are hesitant about will blow your mind and have you singing the hallelujah chorus.
