Night Market: Pumpkin Festival
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 5 PM – 8:30 PM
LOCATION: NASHVILLE FARMERS’ MARKET This Event is FREE!
The final Night Market of the 2014 season! Enjoy shopping, wine from the cash bar, live music, artisan booths, kids’ activities and much more. Market House restaurants and shops will be open. Vendors in the farm sheds will sell local produce, meat, cheese, plants and more! This event will feature a pumpkin theme and will kick off a weekend of pumpkin carving, painting and family-friendly activities at the Nashville Farmers’ Market.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17 – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 10 AM – 4 PM
LOCATION: BICENTENNIAL MALL This Event is FREE!
Now in its 11th year, the Tennessee History Festival blends education and entertainment, allowing school groups and families to experience the more than 200 years of living Tennessee history. The two-day festival features displays and demonstrations by re-enactors and living history interpreters. School groups are encouraged to visit on Friday, October 17and must register in advance by calling 615-741-5658.
Senior Solutions Expo
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 10 AM – 4 PM
LOCATION: MUSIC CITY CENTER This Event is FREE!
The Senior Solutions Expo, a first-of-its-kind event, will showcase ways to learn, discover and experience new things while providing βone-stop-shoppingβ for older adults, their families and their caregivers. The event features free healthcare screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment, personal consultants on legal advice, financial options and insurance, information on housing options and much more. Free parking provided.
Nashville Hot Concert
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 5 PM – 10 PM
LOCATION: PARTY FOWL This is a Free Event!
Join Party Fowl on Saturday, October 18 as it celebrates its recent grand opening with a free outdoor concert featuring country music legend John Anderson and special guest The Chris Weaver Band. The event will include beer, wine and spirit vendors, outdoor food options and giveaways featuring vacations, signed memorabilia, and gift cards to local venues and restaurants. A percent of the profits will benefit the Phoenix Club of Nashville on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee.
Barre3 in the Park
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, REGISTRATION: 2 PM; CLASS: 3 PM – 4 PM
LOCATION: PUBLIC SQUARE This is a FREE Event!
In celebration of its four-month anniversary, Barre3 is offering a free, 60-minute class outside in Public Square on Sunday, October 19! Registration begins at 2 pm and the class starts at 3 pm. No reservation required. Participants should bring their own yoga mats and water bottles. Plus, the event includes free parking in the UBS Tower and a raffle for Barre3 goodies.
Jazz on the Cumberland
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, 5:30 PM – 8 PM
LOCATION: CUMBERLAND PARK This Event is FREE!
Enjoy the series finale of the monthly Jazz on the Cumberland concerts. The Jason Eskridge Band will perform live in the park’s amphitheater. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome at this event. Food available for purchase from local food trucks.
