Salemtown Neighbors Neighborhood Association is throwing a Halloween Block Party!
This is a free admission event and open to all! We will have live music and food. Here’s what’s in store for you…
First of all, live music. Dog costume contest…everybody loves to see a dog in costume…come on, you know you do. In the evening a costume contest for the kids along with trick-or-treating on the block and a kid fun zone. Don’t forget to dress up because we haven’t forgotten about all of you that like to come out once a year (or maybe more frequently but hey, we’re not judging)…this is your night to shine. Big prizes (valued over $100) will be given out to best costume. Make sure to come hungry…check out the lineup of food vendors! And, of course, we’ll have just the thing to wash it all down with.

The East Park Community Center in East Nashville is hosting a safe, family-friendly Halloween party on Halloween night. “Masks arenβt allowed,”so donβt dress too spooky! There will be a costume contest, cake walk, arts & crafts, a blackout dance, trunk or treat, treats, food, and much more, this is going to be FUN!

Hands On Creativity

The fourth annual Hands On Creativity is a two-day, family-friendly event allowing attendees to explore and learn all about art materials and how to use them. The event will feature more than 30 tables of free demonstrations as well as workshops, samples, door prizes and more.

Fall Fest

MCKENDREE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Celebrate fall with McKendree United Methodist Church. The festival will feature family-friendly games including pumpkin bowling, face painting, a ring toss and more. Plus, food, adult fellowship, a black light dance party for adults and children, treat bags and more. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes. The event will take place on the rooftop of the McKendree Center.

First Saturday Art Crawl

First Saturday Art Crawl Downtown! The Crawl is a festive atmosphere with venues located along 5th Avenue of The Avenue of Arts and upstairs in the Historic Arcade. Admission is free, and most galleries serve complimentary refreshments. The Gallery Crawl is a great free night on the town. The performance platforms along 5th Avenue will feature live music by The Ukedelics and Greg Bryant. See this month’s gallery map. Two free shuttles will circulate the route from 6 pm to 10 pm. Please note: road closure associated with this event. The southbound lane on 5th Avenue North (Church Street to Union Street) will be closed beginning as early as 5 pm and ending as late as 9 pm on Saturday, November 1.
