If you want the real deal in barbecue you have to go by and check out Martin’s Bar-B-Que. Martin cooks their food fresh every day. Now with more locations around the middle Tennessee area you have got to put this down on your list to eat out next.
Owner Pat Martin the local bbq master learned from his father the art of the whole-hog cooking experience. He has been featured on the Travel Channel, the Food Network and “Bon Appetit” magazine.
After shopping at the Amish Country Market in Nolensville, we decided to head over and try out some items on the menu and of his now famous bbq brand.
KB ordered the bbq sandwich with the “Sweet Dixie Flavor” It is a semi-sweet vinegar and tomato based sauce. You can get five other flavors when you order. I got the “Redneck Taco” with bbq turkey on top of a cornbread hoe-cake topped with slaw and sauce. All I can say is wow and wow again!
You can check out their website for a full list of on their menu and they even have holiday turkeys and hams. If you need an event catered, they can do that too.
Get ready for that smokey fragrance!
