If you are looking for something a little spicy and sweet this is your sauce. So versatile, it can be used over chicken, pork, turkey, and vegetables. On the Bbq or in the kitchen you can dress up any meal. I love it drizzled over cream cheese and served with crackers or my favorite, pretzels. Anyway you use It I know you will enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 peaches, skin and pits removed
4 habaneros (I take the seeds out but if you like more heat keep them in)
½ medium onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 lime (juiced)
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ cup apple cider vinegar
½ cup water
2 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients together in a high powered blender or food processor and process until the sauce is completely smooth.
Once smooth, place the mixture in a sauce pan, over medium heat.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, let cool, store in your favorite jar.
I love to collect neat little jars to use when I make my own sauces, dressings, and condiments. It is more fun and way tastier than buying store bought. Would love to see your jars, send me an email. Have fun! Happy cooking!
