Dakota’s Peanut Butter Cookies

My son loves all things peanut butter so needless to say he is very fond of these cookies. He loves to eat them warm with a glass of milk. The great thing about this recipe is you can use more peanut butter than the recipe calls for and it doesn’t change the cookie. We usually put a cup of pb, you can also use creamy or crunchy. Top it with Reese’s mini cups to add even more flavor instead of sugar, have fun experimenting. Happy Baking!

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter, softened

3/4 cup of peanut butter

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of sugar

1 egg

1 1/2 cup of sifted flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add egg, beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Add flour to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and mix together. Roll dough into balls, place on cookie sheet. Flatten with fork and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Cool for five minutes. Enjoy!😊
