This is an awesome casserole, my husband loves!
I call my husband, sweetdaddy, and I tell you he loves when I make this.
Sweetdaddy, would like if I made it every week but I try to only make it once a month. It’s easy, tasty fare, that’s big on comfort and friendly on your budget. I hope you will give this recipe a try.

8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon garlic
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 can tomato paste
16 oz egg noodles

8 oz. cream cheese softened
1/2 large onion chopped
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 stick of butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
Season with your favorite seasoning, I like to use spike.
Drain fat if needed.
Add mushrooms Season with garlic.
Stir in tomato paste with meat and mushrooms but do not ad water.
Then add your favorite spaghetti sauce and let simmer for 20 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, and onion and mix well.
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta to al dente.
In a 9×13 baking dish, add a ladle of sauce.
Then add half of the noodles, followed by the sauce mixture. Cover with cream cheese and sour cream mixture.
Next add remaining noodles and sprinkle grated cheese over the top. Dot with butter.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Cool for 7-10 minutes. Serve with a salad and crusty bread.
