You Need TWO Cinnamon Rolls

The ultimate comfort food has to be cinnamon rolls and that smell, wow! I love making these goodies especially when the air turns cool and family and friends are together. A cup of coffee or hot tea, yes, yes, yes! This is a great recipe that is fun to make with a little twist in the ingredients. I hope you will give them a try.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pkg. active dry yeast

1 Tbsp. sugar

1/4 cup water (110°)

1 cup milk

1/3 cup instant vanilla pudding

1 egg

1/4 cup of melted butter

1 tsp. salt

3 cups of flour

Filling:

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup softened butter

Icing:

2 cup confectioner’s sugar

2 tablespoon butter melted

2 teaspoon vanilla

2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream

DIRECTIONS:

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

Beat milk and pudding on low speed for 1 minute.

Let stand for 2 minutes.
Add egg, butter, salt, yeast mixture and 2 cups of flour, beat until smooth.

Add enough flour to form soft dough.
Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.

Filling:

Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough into large rectangle. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll up and pinch seam to seal.

Cut into rolls and place into greased 9×13 pan.

Cover and let rise until doubled.

Preheat oven to 350°

Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden.

While baking make up icing.

Combine powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla and milk in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

Let the cinnamon rolls cool for about 5 minutes.
Pour icing over rolls and serve.

Happy Baking 😊
