This is a great easy biscuit recipe, no cutting in butter, just measure, mix and roll out!

It can be thrown together quick, popped in the oven, and cooked in 10 minutes. Fresh and homemade, you will know every ingredient that is in it. So say no to canned biscuits and yes to fresh!

Velvet Cream Biscuits


4 cups of all purpose flour

2 tablespoons of baking powder

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

2 1/2 Cups of whipping cream

2 tablespoons of melted butter


Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl, add whipping cream, stirring with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a floured surface, and knead lightly 8-10 times. Roll dough to 1/2 thickness; cut with a 2-3 inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush biscuits with melted butter and enjoy! Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
