If you are looking for a great salad dressing without all the oil and extra fat, then this is a recipe you will love. No oil, but lots of great flavor, not only do I use this on salad but I drizzle a little over my baked boneless skinless chicken breast to give it a bright tasty kick, add some roasted brussel sprouts and you have a yummy low calorie and low fat meal. It is a great way to use up any leftover champagne from the holidays. One of the things I love about this recipe is you can make it year round but the flavors give you a taste of spring and summer.
Organic Strawberry Champagne Vinaigrette
1 Cup of organic strawberries
2 1/2 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons Champagne
1 tablespoons of organic honey
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Directions:
Place all 5 ingredients in your blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into air tight jar, or glass bottle of your choice. Store in refrigerator. Will last 7 to 10 days.
If you do not have champagne or apple cider vinegar you can substitute 3 tablespoons of organic champagne vinegar instead. I hope you will try and enjoy!
