We all know Nashville is known as “Music City” and boy do we live up to that name. Music is everywhere in Nashville and if you are fortunate enough to live here, you know we sometimes tend to take it for granted. I love Nashville, the sights, sounds, smells, energy, and vibe of the city.

Everywhere you go in Nashville someone has a guitar, strumming a tune. There is so much talent and excitement all around you. It makes you want to write a song!

When I was a teenager, we would walk around downtown at night, find a building that had a great echo sound, and sing Patsy Cline’s song, Walkin’ After Midnight! I would sing and friends would come in on parts, we thought we were something! It was fun and magical! Nashville has changed a lot since 1988 & 1989, but the excitement and vibe has only grown.

I am so thrilled that areas around our town have been revived with such a community feeling. The Gulch, East, 12th South, just to name a few, are bustling with local shops, restaurants, and coffee houses. They each offer a hometown and community feel, making it such a pleasure to come and hang out.

If you have not taken the opportunity to spend some laid back, casual hang out time in and around Nashville, I encourage you to set some time aside and enjoy all it has to offer. I believe you will find yourself falling in love with our beautiful fun filled city.
