Orange Pretzel Dessert

I love strawberry pretzel dessert but in the fall, I think this is perfection. The colors and the tastes of Autumn. If I’m taking this to a get together I will top with fall candies. The sweet and salty is so yum! I hope you will give it a try.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup melted butter

1 tablespoon plus 3/4 cup sugar, divided

2 cups finely crushed pretzels

2 cups boiling water

2  3 oz. packages orange gelatin

1 16 oz. Can crushed pineapple, drained

1 can (11) ounces mandarin oranges, drained

1 package 8 ounces softened cream cheese

2 cups Extra Creamy Cool Whip

Additional whipped topping and mandarin oranges for garnish.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°.

Mix melted butter and 1 tablespoon sugar and stir in pretzels.

Press onto bottom of an ungreased 13×9 baking dish.

Bake 10 minutes and cool completely.

In a large bowl, add boiling water to gelatin and stir 2 minutes to completely dissolve. Stir in fruit.

Refrigerate until partially set, about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth.

Fold in cool whip and spread over crust.

Gently spoon gelatin mixture over top. Place in refrigerator covered until firm, about 4 hours.

To serve, cut into squares. Top with additional cool whip and oranges, serve and enjoy!

Happy Dessert Making 😊
