Today should be a day that we all have marked on our calendar. The day that we as Americans go and vote in our district and within our state. I have always felt that voting was a honor and privilege. Not to be lightly esteemed.

My vote counts and so does yours. If you are thinking about sitting this one out, let me share a couple of statistics with you.

Of all the eligible voters that are 18 or older in the US, only 67% are registered to vote. Now out of that 67% only 40% of those registered will go and take the time to cast their ballot. To put it another way, only 1 out of 8 Americans will choose Senators and Governors this election year.

Your vote matters and let your voice be heard. We urge you to go vote!
