For those of you who want a simpler time of just walking and not a complicated routine, here are a couple of walking workouts that I have come across. If you want to get a boost of energy or if you are looking for a pick me up for your metabolism, try a couple of these walking exercises.
You could shrink down a size just in time for Summer. So, how about adding a high intensity walk to your routine. For best results, do at least 20 minutes. Do this for three days, skipping a day in between. Here is a 30 minute treadmill walk that should help you burn around 150 calories.
The quicker you walk, the farther you can go, and the more pounds you can burn. Here is another routine that can burn as many as 175 calories. Try this….
After warming up for 5 minutes, walk as fast as you can for 10 minutes. Keep a record of how far you went. Then, turn around and walk back at a faster pace, slowing your speed to cool down as you get closer to your starting point.
And for a third option, if you only have about 10 minutes to walk, here is another high-intensity one that can burn up to 70% more calories.
