So you get up in the morning and what is the first thing that you do? Make coffee right? What if, you had a banana and some water? What would that do? It would give you needed energy that your body can absorb. You would be surprised how much.

I love them because they come pre-packaged, just peel and eat. Did you know that bananas are good for your heart, mood, digestion, weight loss and bones. They are low fat and great for workouts, keeping that energy steady and avoiding muscle cramps. So you can eat one or two bananas, an hour before exercise.

The following are some crazy banana facts.

Bananas may have been the world’s first cultivated fruit. Archaeologists have found evidence of banana cultivation in New Guinea as far back as 8000 B.C.
Bananas are produced mainly in tropical and subtropical areas.
Bananas do not grow on trees. The correct name for a bunch of bananas is a hand; a single banana is a finger. Nearly all the bananas sold in stores are cloned from just one variety, the Cavendish banana plant, originally native to Southeast Asia. There are 50 recognized species of banana. Only 15 percent of the global production of the fruit is grown for export.

2 whole bananas

3 cups Ice

1 cup Milk

1/2 whole Lemon to squeeze

1 Tbsp. Honey


Pour all ingredients in blender pouring ice in last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until smoothie thickens.
